Fairfield Cape Refurbished and Refreshed

For this client, kellydesigns took a small space and created two distinct rooms: a den /family room and a living room that was more of a conversation area for the adults. As the rooms connected there needed to be a cohesive feeling between the two rooms. kellydesigns selected new sofas, chairs, media console, rugs, lamps, window treatments and accessories to create the desired look and feel.

The end table is cane and wood with three tiers and we used an elegant glass based lamp from Uttermost to add some punch. This living room has a curved sofa from CR Laine in beige textured linen -like fabric with pillows in a blue coastal design. The drapery is simple beige sheer linen. This cape is small on space but when we painted the walls Barbados Sand and Wheeling Neutral by Benjamin Moore and added crisp new drapes and lighter color furniture it opened up the space. The two rooms extend into one another so it was important to have them coordinate. In the den we added a new sofa in a soft blue with leather ottomans, corner console for the TV, and new rug in warm tones of beige, brown, and blues.
